Proof & Paper started with my own journey through family court. Like many parents, I was thrown into a system I didn’t fully understand, yet I knew one thing was clear: if I wanted my voice to be heard and my children’s best interests protected, I needed evidence. What I didn’t realize was how hard it would be to keep everything organized.

I found myself drowning in text messages, emails, screenshots, and notes from conversations and incidents. Important details would get lost in the shuffle, and when the time came to present information, I was often scrambling. That stress only added to the emotional weight I was already carrying.

It was only when I started creating my own structured way of tracking events—logging incidents, keeping records in one place, and labeling everything clearly—that I began to feel some control again. Walking into court with organized evidence gave me the confidence to focus on telling the truth, rather than worrying about finding the right document at the right time.

Proof & Paper was built from that experience. These templates are the tools I wish I had from the beginning—practical, reliable, and simple enough to use even in the middle of chaos. My hope is that they give others the same peace of mind I found: knowing that your facts are organized, your story is clear, and you are prepared for whatever comes next.
